 -1979
Oct.1974 Toshiba Chemical Corporation established in Minato-ku, Tokyo (capital 1,500 million yen). The right of manufacturing and sales of plastic materials and insulating materials was transferred by Tokyo Shibaura Electric Corporation. (name changed to Toshiba Corporation). Manufacturing of these products starts at Kawaguchi Works and Chidoricho Works. Sales of these products start at Tokyo and Kansai sales branches and Tohoku, Hokuriku, Chubu, and Kyushu sales offices (all locations in Japan).
Oct.1976 Development, manufacturing and sales start of Casting Resin for Electronic Parts.
Sep.1979 Development, manufacturing and sales start of Epoxy Molding Compounds for Semiconductor Encapsulation.
 1980s
Sep. 1980 Mass production equipment of Flexible Copper Clad Laminate is newly established at the Kawaguchi Works.
Sep. 1982 Fiber Reinforced Plastic manufacturing sales company, Toshiba Reinforced Plastics Corporation (now Moka Works (Moka-shi, Tochigi, Japan)) becomes subsidiary of KYOCERA Chemical Corporation (investment ratio increased from 40.8% to 59.2%).
Sep. 1985 Wholly-owned Toshiba Chemical America (now KYOCERA Industrial Ceramics Corp.) established as a sales base in the United States.
Mar. 1988 Company stock listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Second Section
 1990s
Feb. 1991 Technical Center completed.
Jun. 1991 Koriyama Works completed.
Jun. 1991 Wholly-owned Toshiba Chemical Europe GmbH (now KYOCERA Fineceramics GmbH) established as a technical service base in Europe.
May 1992 Representative office opened in Singapore.
Apr. 1995 With 75% investment, Wuxi Tochemi Electrochemical Co., Ltd. (now KYOCERA Chemical (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.) established as a manufacturing sales base of Casting Resin in China.
Nov. 1995 With 90% investment, Toshiba Chemical Singapore Pte. Ltd. (now KYOCERA Chemical Singapore Pte. Ltd.) established as a manufacturing sales base of the Epoxy Molding Compounds for Semiconductor Encapsulation, Casting Resins, and Insulating Varnishes in Southeast Asia.
 2000-
Jan. 2000 Toshiba Chemical Thailand Ltd. (now KYOCERA Chemical (Thailand) Ltd.) established as a manufacturing sales base of molding dies in Southeast Asia.
Oct. 2000 Wholly-owned Toshiba Chemical Procurement & Engineering (Hong Kong) Ltd. (now KYOCERA Chemical (Hong Kong) Ltd.) established as a base of procurement, sales and technical service in Hong Kong.
Jun. 2002 Headquarters relocated to Kawaguchi, Saitama, Japan.
Aug. 2002 Toshiba Chemical Corporation becomes wholly-owned subsidiary of KYOCERA Corporation through stock transaction with KYOCERA Corporation. Company name changed to KYOCERA Chemical Corporation. Toshiba Chemical Corporation stock delisted.
Apr. 2004 KYOCERA Chemical Reinforced Plastic Co., Ltd. merges with KYOCERA Chemical Corporation and becomes Moka Works.
Jul. 2004 Wuxi Tochemi Electrochemical Co., Ltd. (now KYOCERA Chemical (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.) becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of KYOCERA Chemical Corporation.
