Kyocera chemical’s mold processing technology and R&D of molding compounds has continuously been progressing for years. We are an integrated manufacturer of molded parts; including applications such as mobile phones, mobile electronic devices, digital consumer electronics, exterior & interior automotive components, TC boards (unsaturated polyester molding compounds) and pultrusion molded parts (epoxy ).
In recent years, along with increased demand for mobile electronic devices such as portable PCs and PDAs, the market expects compact and tough casings (molded parts) with electromagnetic shielding performance. To meet the variety of requirements for high performance, we take on challenges for new applications with our mold technologies for high-performance plastics and magnesium moldings.

Our magnesium molding business is able to achieve a short delivery date of three months from start to mass production, and has achieved high yield in mass production. TC boards are special insulator boards made from our unsaturated polyester resin molding compounds. Our TC boards show good tracking resistance, arc resistance, heat resistance, dimensional stability and acid resistance (heating).
